Postage Charges & Delivery
Postage and packing is charged applying the following table to order values. This is the average cost of postal charges made to us, as well as processing, cutting, packing and administration.

Our standard shipping charges for delivery will be automatically added to your order if ordering through our on-line shopping facility. Additional charges will be notified to you by telephone or email, prior to dispatch, should they be applicable.
Orders are normally posted by Royal Mail, first class letter post, courier, or ParcelForce Parcel Post. For items which are required urgently please ring or put a note with your order, and if necessary we will advise further details and options. Wherever possible, we will process your order to required deadlines.
Please note that Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey are treated as UK for small parcels that are able to travel via Royal Mail (under 2kg). For parcels weighing more than 2kg, that travel via Parcel Force or by courier, (for example fabric orders of more than 6 metres, and rolls of wadding) there may be an additional cost to the rates quoted above. For example, rolls of wadding that are in excess of 1.2 metre in length and as such incur an additional surcharge by our couriers. This additional cost is generally no more than £5. If an additional cost is to be incurred, we will advise you of this on processing, and prior to dispatch.As a general rule, if a parcel has to cross water, then there may be an incremental surcharge.
Please note that parcels over 1m in length, which include, but are not limited to our rolls of wadding may incur additional shipping costs, particularly in relation to overseas orders. We will quote you separately prior to processing and obtain agreement from you before we ship.
Please note that any duty taxes incurred on overseas parcel are the responsibility of the recipient. Prices quoted on our website do not include overseas tax or duty.
Where can I have my goods delivered?
You can choose to have your goods delivered to an alternative address to your home, if you wish. Please be aware that some parcels are bulky and will not fit through your letterbox, so it may be more convenient to have the delivery made to your place of work or to a friend, if no one is available at home to take delivery.
How long does it take to dispatch my order?
We aim to dispatch orders within 7 working days after the order has been placed, if the items are in stock. However, we are often able to dispatch within 1-3 days. We carry an extensive range of items but occasionally items do go out of stock. If an item is out of stock and it is likely to take longer than 7 working days for the item to be dispatched to you, we would normally email or telephone you to inform you when your order will be sent. We aim to advise you of any delays within 48 hours, or as soon as we practically can.
Please note that once we have advised you that your order has been dispatched, you must notify us within 5 days if you have not received it, in order to make a claim.
What happens if something is damaged or missing?
If, on receiving your order you find that items are missing, then you must inform us in writing within 7 days of this fact.
Please report damages on the day of delivery, with photographs where possible.
You should retain all packaging and evidence to back up your claim and be prepared to cooperate with our delivery agents to try and resolve the matter.
