Saturday 11th July: The Lady Sew and Sew Summer Sale Begins with a Special Janome Sewing Machine Demo Day As Well!
You are invited to the start of the Lady Sew and Sew Summer Sale and our Janome Sewing Machine Event.
We’ll have:
- Hundreds of Super Sale Bargains – Fabrics, Haberdashery, Wadding and Yarn.
- One-to-one demonstrations and the chance to experience Janome Machines and Accessories for yourself
- Special sessions with Janome’s Lauren Tedstone (you will recognise her from the Sewing Bee), taking you through the latest models, and showing how Janome’s accessories can be used to expand your creative repertoire
- Plus offers and goodie bags
- And of course the chance to explore our fabulous fabrics, wonderful wadding and so much more.

Lauren Tedstone from Janome will be joining us in the Henley-on-Thames Warehouse on Saturday, July 11th
She’ll be showing the Sewing machines and Overlockers, and giving pre- booked demonstrations of a range of Janome feet and accessories, all designed to expand the creative potential of your machine.
PLUS You can save 10% on Janome feet and accessories bought in the Warehouse on the day.
Bring your sewing machine to us on Saturday 11th July for a Sewing Machine Health Check with Sarah, our qualified Sewing Machine Engineer. All major Sewing Machine Brands accepted. A health check ensures your machine runs smoothly, prevents costly repairs, and keeps your sewing projects on track.
£20 per check | Approx. 30 minutes | Limited spaces – booking essential

Quilt Exhibition: Janet Clare

Tuesday to Friday 15th – 25th September 2026
Join us this September for a stunning exhibition of quilts by renowned Moda designer, quilter, and pattern maker Janet Clare.
This inspiring showcase will feature a beautiful collection of Janet’s work, with a special focus on quilts from her most recent fabric collections, Delphinium and Data. Each quilt will be accompanied by short insights, offering a glimpse into the ideas, techniques, and stories behind the designs.
A highlight of the exhibition will be a special “Meet the Maker” event on Saturday 19th September, where Janet Clare will be in attendance as part of our Warehouse Open Day. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet Janet in person, hear about her creative process, and gain inspiration for your own quilting projects.
Throughout the exhibition, there will also be a selection of Janet Clare’s books and patterns available for purchase.
Whether you are an experienced quilter or simply appreciate beautiful textile art, this exhibition promises to be a warm and inspiring experience.

With nearly 175 years of expertise, Schmetz is renowned for producing precision sewing machine needles. Emma will be on hand throughout the day to share her knowledge, answer your questions, and help you choose the perfect needle for your projects—because the right needle can make all the difference to achieving a professional finish.

Dimensions in Fabric: The Art of 3D Quilting

Step into the fascinating world of 3-dimensional quilts at this unique exhibition by Helen of HB Designs, showcasing striking Optical Illusion Panels created using foundation paper piecing.
Inspired by a passion for 3D imagery, each piece explores bold geometric forms and cleverly constructed shapes that appear to leap off the surface. These quilts transform flat fabric into dynamic, sculptural designs, using light, shadow and perspective to create truly mesmerising effects.
Whether you’re a quilter, a textile enthusiast, or simply curious about the art of illusion, this exhibition offers an inspiring look at how fabric and geometry combine to create something extraordinary.
Helen will be on hand on Saturday 10th October to answer your questions and share her expertise as part of this curated exhibition.
