The Bright Thread Collection contains twelve reels, each 1422 yards, of Aurifil 50wt thread, Aurifil’s most versatile and popular cotton thread, wound on an iconic orange spool. When designing the Bright Collection, Aurifil’s Master Colourist has skillfully selected the brightest colours for each shade of the rainbow. Perfect for projects with vivid matching colours and to showcase the power of colours in contrast with the background fabric. It is an absolute must-have for experienced and beginner quilters.
The 50wt is strong and thin, and results in remarkably flat and crisp seams. It is wonderful for piecing, subtle quilting, topstitching, and English Paper Piecing.
It also works incredibly well for Needle Turn Applique, Bobbin and Machine Lace, Machine Applique (Straight Stitch, ZigZag, Blind Hem and Blanket Stitch,) Machine Embroidery, Dense Machine Quilting, Subtle Machine and Longarm Quilting, Basting, Whole Cloth and Micro Quilting, and Dense Background Designs.
