Tuareg Pattern, Studio Linen by Erika Knight, is a pattern for an oversized asymmetrical front cardigan with rib trims, bracelet length sleeves and patch pocket detail.

This pattern uses Studio Linen yarn by Erika Knight, which is made from 85% recycled linen fibres blended with 15% premium natural linen. These fibres are twisted and dyed in Italy and the resulting product is a yarn with a dry hand feel, cool drape and subtle sheen; a yarn that just gets better with wear and age. An ancient fibre recycled for a modern maker.

Sizing

Materials

  • Studio Linen yarn – S = 9 skeins, M = 10 skeins, L = 11 skeins
  • 3.75mm/US 5 circular needle for front band
  • 3.75mm/US 5 needles
  • Stitch holders
  • Stitch markers
  • Large eyed blunt tipped sewing needle

Tension

22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm/4in meas over St st using 3.75mm/US 5 needles.

Change needle size if necessary to ensure the correct tension.
