This charming wall hanging has been inspired by many, many blustery and chilly family visits to the coast.
The girl flying her red kite, the stripy lighthouse, a seagull and some fishing boats are all brought to life by fusible appliqué and free machine drawing technique.
The pattern is printed in full colour, with cover photo to showcase the finished quilt, detailed instructions guide you through the construction of the appliqué blocks, the pieced sashing, quilt construction, layering and binding. Lots of close-up photographs are included to demonstrate how using my free-machine drawing technique brings your fusible appliqué characters to life.
The templates are very versatile and can also be used for other appliqué, embroidery and paper craft projects.
My finished wall hanging measures 14 x 27 inches.
