JC247 Petal Quilt Pattern by Janet Clare – a striking, fat quarter friendly quilt featuring curved piecing in two sizes with many alternative layouts achieved by simply rotating the blocks.
This A5 paper pattern is printed in full colour and includes colour photographs, detailed layout diagrams, fabric requirements and cutting lists. Detailed block diagrams show the exact arrangement of fabrics and lots of supporting photographs, mean you can confidently re-create the design. It includes full size curve piecing templates, so some quilting experience may be useful to recreate this stunning quilt.
The pattern guides you through cutting your fabric, preparing and piecing the blocks, and includes notes on preparing the quilt backing, wadding, layering up and binding. In addition it includes alternative layouts that can be achieved by rotating the curved piecing units.
You can even make a bonus smaller quilt or project using the left over curved pieces.
