Requirements – Finished size approx. 54 x 54 inches
Fabrics 100% cotton, new, good quality, patchwork fabrics please
Six colours for the cubes – shown above in a clean rainbow of
red, orange, yellow, green, blue & pink/purple
Choose three fabrics in shades (a dark, a medium & a light) of each of your six colours:
Dark – 8 inches x Width of Fabric (a fat quarter will be plenty)
Medium – 12 x 12 inches
Light – 8 inches x Width of Fabric (a fat quarter will be plenty)
I would advise choosing tone-on-tone print or plain fabrics. Avoid large,
multi-coloured or directional prints – save these for the another project

Bias Binding A total of 200 inches (approx. 5m) of 1 inch bias tape
is required, or you can make your own from 0.5m of fabric
