Hobbs Polydown King Size, Polyester Wadding/Batting

Hobbs Polydown King Size, Polyester Wadding/Batting, is made with very fine, white, denier polyester. This allows the wadding to provide a soft feel and lovely drape.

Hobbs Poly-Down Polyester wadding is bonded to provide added durability and resist bearding and migration. It is also machine-washable, non-allergenic and maintains its loft. Exceptional for hand quilting. Prized by machine quilters for its wonderful loft which accentuates quilting details.

Items made with Hobbs Poly-Down Polyester wadding can be machine washed. However, all quilts should be washed using a delicate cycle and cool water, with no heavy agitation or spinning.

Please be especially cautious when using front-loading washers, as the intense spin cycle can be very hard on quilts. For more detailed washing information, please see the care instructions on the product packaging. 

Pair this wadding with light to medium-coloured fabrics. If paired with dark fabrics, we recommend quilters test this wadding with their chosen fabric(s) to see if there will be an issue. It’s always best to test first!
