With the Bernina Free Hand System (FHS), you can easily raise and lower the presser foot using the knee lever while simultaneously lowering the feed dog, allowing you to easily position and remove your sewing project. Thanks to the 2-step presser foot lifter, even thick or multi-layered projects can be positioned effortlessly and precisely.

Thanks to the differential feed, you can always achieve smooth seams or fine gathers exactly as desired.
