DB29 Rhino Applique Panel, On Safari Collection by Lewis & Irene + Delphine Brooks

DB29 Rhino Panel by Delphine Brooks for Lewis and Irene is a 36″ panel to create a colourful rhino.

All of the fabric required is printed on each individual panel as well as the main piece to ‘fill’ with the fabric as desired. Comprehensive instructions are also written on each of the panels along with an image showing a suggested finish.

To complete, you will also need bondaweb, backing fabric and wadding.

We suggest the following –

• 1/2 yd of bondaweb
• 0.75m of plain navy fabric for backing
• Crib size pack of Hobbs 80/20 wadding

To make your panel:

• Trace over each section using a permanent pen onto the glue side of the bondaweb
• Roughly cut out your pattern pieces and iron them onto the wrong side (back) of your chosen fabrics and neatly cut out
• Peel the backing from your pattern pieces and lay them onto the correct sections of your design and press them into place with an iron.
• Sew around each section using a matching thread, a blanket, zig zag or satin stitch work best
• Create a quilt sandwich with you wadding and backing fabric and quilt as desired!
