A hand piecing masterclass

Workshop Overview

This block based on the Noon and Night block from Kansas City Star by Laura Wheeler in 1934. We will be hand piecing this, so will be great as a take along project. The class covers everything you need to know about hand piecing with lots of hints and tips along the way.

The block is a great scrap stash buster, or a wonderful way to just show off fabrics that you love. If you want to use fewer fabrics then do, it is great to make the quilt your own.

This quilt is featured in Carolyn Forster’s book, 1930s Quilts, available here.
