JC267 Edith Quilt Pattern by Janet Clare is an elegant design which combines classic patchwork blocks and careful placement of colour to create a beautiful geometric quilt. The design can be extended to create more sizes, with requirements and layouts for two sizes 60” (152cm) and 80” (203cm) square are included in the pattern.
The cover quilt blends cream, blue, pink, and green prints from the Sweet Cecily collection for Moda, but you can easily choose your own. Use the little colour swatches to help you select fabrics to create your quilt.
The pattern is printed in full colour quilt pattern and explains how to construct the blocks, piece the quilt top and includes notes on adding the quilt backing, wadding, layering up and binding.
It is constructed using traditional quilting techniques and whilst having some patchwork experience will make this project easier, the techniques are simple to learn, making it suitable for all experience levels.
