Este MacLeod’s debut fabric collection, Alfie, will be produced by Windham Fabrics. Her paintings have been transformed into digital art and realised as textile designs. Inspired by the real and the imaginary her work always retains freshness with layering colours, patterns, textures and mark-making, and her trademark floral and simplified plant forms.
Although the shapes are distorted and altered, there is a strong sense of the familiar.
