Sewing for as long as she can remember, Debbie Shore is the author of 26 sewing books with more to come, although she began her career as a children’s TV presenter, before acting in programmes including Emmerdale (1972), Heartbeat (1992) and Peak Practice (1993).

Her books cover a wide range of sewing techniques and all sorts of wonderful projects; she presents sewing programmes on various TV channels; and has designed several popular fabric ranges for the Craft Cotton Company, showcasing her often whimsical, charming depictions of natural subjects.
