Description
Clam Up Purses Workshop with Anita Birtles
Date & Time: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Skill Level: Beginner (some rotary cutting experience required)
If quilting fabrics, inserting zips, sewing 3D objects, or binding edges are new or challenging for you, this is the perfect class to build your skills! During the workshop, you’ll make a selection of fully lined purses using Bosal’s In-R-Form or Style-vil foam to give each purse its stand-up shape.
What You’ll Make:
You can create several purses in the following sizes—make more or less depending on your sewing speed!
| Size | Finished Dimensions (HxWxD) |
|---|---|
| Extra Small (XS) | 2¾” H x 3½” W x 2⅝” D |
| Small (S) | 3½” H x 4½” W x 3⅜” D |
| Medium (M) | 4¼” H x 5½” W x 4” D |
| Large (L) | 4⅞” H x 6½” W x 4⅝” D |
| Extra Large (XL) | 5½” H x 7½” W x 5” D |
Preparation:
Please practice rotary cutting before the class to ensure you’re confident with the basics. We’ll include a “Hints and Tips Tutorial” during the session to refresh your rotary cutting skills, but prior knowledge will help you get the most from the workshop.
