FF2816 Ben the Beginner Bear: Funky Friends Factory. This chubby baby bear was designed for new sewers. Ben is easy to sew, with no complicated arm or leg joints. He sits up on his own and has a very wide, totally flat, single-piece tummy – perfect for displaying images from t-shirts & baby clothes. He has a 5 inch(12½ cm) square grid on the tummy piece so you can easily centre embroidery designs! His feet also have a 4 inch(10cm) square grid with lots of room for adding names & dates for sewing memory bears
Recommended Fabrics:
Ben can be sewn in most fabrics. Use a medium-weight, woven interfacing (G700) to line fabrics that are thin and very stretchy.

- Face Fabric – 33cm x 55cm wide (13 inches x 22 inches wide)
- Tummy Fabric – 33cm x 55cm wide (13 inches x 22 inches wide)
- Snout Fabric – 25cm x 55cm wide (10 inches x 22 inches wide)
- Embroidery thread for nose and mouth.
- Felt for nose – 5cm x 5cm wide (2 inches x 2 inches wide)
- 18mm Black craft eyes.
