FF2885 Kip the Keepsake Dog: Funky Friends Factory.  This playful pup with his floppy ears and adorable puppy-dog tail, is perfect for sewing a child’s best friend. He is an unjointed, ‘sitting toy’, designed for memory toys, décor or playtime. His large, “no-seam” tummy panel and spaces on his ears, arms, foot pads and legs, all have grids marked on the pattern pieces for easy cantering of embroidery. His felt nose and optional eye patch can be sewn on by machine or hand and the cute collar and bone-shaped name tag piece are included in the pattern!

Recommended Fabrics:
A memory dog can be sewn in most fabrics. Use a medium-weight, woven interfacing (G700) to line fabrics that are thin and very stretchy. This allows you to mix different types of fabrics for your memory toy dog. You will need about 6 – 8 pieces of baby clothing to make a baby keepsake but you can also use just 2 fabrics (Main and Contrast).

Specific Requirements:

• Main Fabric – 41cm x 110cm wide (16inches x 43inches wide)
• Contrast Fabric – 23cm x 55cm wide (9inches x 22inches wide)* Or you can use between 6 and 8 items of baby clothes for each dog
• Felt for Nose & Patch- 5cm x 10cm wide (2inches x 4inches wide)
• Felt for Dog Tag – 5cm x 10cm wide (2inches x 4inches wide)
• 16mm(⅝inch) Ribbon for collar – 33cm (13inches)
• 15mm Craft eyes
