Sandy is a fun-loving, fellow who loves long walks on the beach.
Seagulls remind Pauline of all the yummy things you eat on a beach holiday like fairy floss and ice-cream so she decided to make him out of fabric covered in ice-creams, cakes and doughnuts.
Pauline thinks of seagulls with yellow legs but she looked in a bird book and MOST of the ones in Australia have red legs!
