FF4767 Gertrude Guinea Pig: Funky Friends Factory

Gertrude wants you to know she is not from Guinea nor is she a pig! Her ancestors came from the Andes mountains but these days they prefer the comforts of human homes and they are very affectionate and responsive to handling and feeding, but mostly feeding!

This simple pattern looks fantastic in any fabric and is a great stash-busting pattern too!
Quilting cotton, stretchy (knit) fabrics like fleece would be nice and snuggly and fake fur would be great for a long-haired guinea pig!

Specific Requirements
FACE & SIDE fabric – 25cm(10inches) x 55cm(inches) wide BACK & EAR fabric – 25cm(10inches) x 35cm(14inches) wide. EAR & LEGS fabric – 15cm(inches) x 55cm(22inches) wide FOREHEAD, FRONT etc! – 30cm(12inches) x 50cm(20inches). Black Craft Eyes – 18mm (inch) OR Black Felt scrap for eyes, Pink Felt for NOSE & MOUTH – 5cm (2inch) square piece. Embroidery thread for mouth (match to felt).
General Requirements
General sewing supplies (thread, pins, needles, scissors, etc). Craft glue & firm card for templates Fine tipped permanent marker pen / fabric marker. Toy Stuffing
