Great for backing a hand quilting project, or for conservatory drapes!
Muslin is great for cooking projects, such as jam making. Even use Muslin for wrapping around your Christmas Turkey, draped in butter!
Approx. 140cm wide, 54″.
Muslin, fine-woven from cotton and bleached or unbleached, is a truly utilitarian textile with a wealth of historical roots. In very hot climates, muslin can be used as an apparel material because of its light, breathable nature. Also used as a mock-up fabric for the seamstress or amateur fashion designer. It also has uses in theatre and studio photography, cooking and medicine. Muslin is also applied to the back of curtains or drapes to help give them form and preserve privacy.
Washing Instructions – Manufacturer says: 30 degree wash. Cool tumble-dry. We strongly recommend testing a small piece first to be sure.
