All fabrics included as 100% cotton and can be washed at 30 degrees.
Opal Crosses is an elegant quilt in cool shades, the ‘cross’ blocks are separated with sashing strips in Kaffe Fassett’s Garlands blue fabric.
The blocks are made from 3 patch shapes: a square, a half-square triangle, and a quarter-square triangle and joined with sashings.
Using a design wall will help to place the blocks in the required layout. The layout is shown in the book, Quilts in an English Village and is easy to follow. It is the placing of the blocks that draws the eye and makes this a stunning quilt.
Fabric enclosed in your Fabric Pack is to complete the quilt top and binding. In addition, you will need wadding and backing fabric.
