Bernina Patchwork Foot with Guide #57/57D

The Bernina Patchwork Foot with Guide #57/57D differs from Patchwork Foot #37 only in that it has a built-in seam guide along the right edge of the foot. It is therefore particularly suitable for patchwork projects with 1/4” (6mm) or 1/8” (3mm) seam allowances.

Other precision sewing techniques requiring a perfectly straight seam also benefit from the use of Patchwork Foot with Guide #57. Here, the edge guide is placed directly against the fabric edge or seam line to yield straight spacings and lines when sewing.

• #57 is for 5.5 mm machines and is compatible with 9 mm machines.
• #57D is for 9 mm machines with Bernina Dual Feed system and has a sensor that specifies the stitch width to the machine. The sole is also longer and wider than the #10. Please note, to use the Bernina Dual Feed system with the Pattern Foot with Guide, this foot is required.
