The layout of this quilt was inspired by the great African artist El Anatsui, who uses bottle tops to create rippling, repeating patterns.Using Kaffe's smaller prints and classics, Kaffe created his own version of one of Anatsui’s glorious hangings in this quilt, for which Brandon’s Reflections fabric makes the perfect border. -

This quilt is named after the field of bean stalks that Kaffe and Brandon saw whilst on location at the farm. Kaffe particularly likes the simple brick structure of this quilt is that it lends itself to so many different colour schemes.
