Shelf Life Quilt Workshop with Megan Manwaring. Inspired by Kaffe Fassett’s Rice Bowls quilt and the artworks of Giorgio Morandi, Megan designed this applique quilt as an ode to her morning coffee.

Texture into Sudoku. Surface texture and manipulation to create a nipped, tucked, twiddled and fiddled panel with a little added extra embellishment. -
This workshop is held in our ground floor main warehouse. The warehouse is closed to the public during this workshop.
In addition to your workshop, there are two optional additional sessions, both free of charge - a Rotary Cutting Tutorial, which will be on the morning prior to the start of your workshop, and an exclusive Shopping Event with Kaffe and Brandon on the Friday afternoon prior to the workshop. Whilst there is no further charge to attend either( or both) of these sessions, booking is essential as spaces are limited.
Spaces are limited to both of these optional events and are bookable shortly after registration for the workshop. These events are solely for those attending the workshop.

What is Kawandi Quilting?
Kawandi is a hand-stitched quilt, made from scrap fabric, traditionally using old saris. The piece is assembled from the outside in. The edges are turned under and stitched together, and wadding is laid inside. Use your pieces to make quilts, clothing or cosmetic bags, to name just a few ideas.

In a friendly, inspiring atmosphere, we will guide you through every step. No previous experience needed - The pattern is included in your course fee - Small group size of 6 for personal attention.
