Unlock your creativity with a personalised One-2-One Patchwork and quilting lesson! Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned quilter, these tailored sessions are designed to help you master techniques, solve tricky problems, and take your projects to the next level.

Are you stuck on a particular technique? Need guidance on piecing, quilting, or choosing the perfect borders? How about Bag Making? Would you like help on the trickier aspects of making a bag such as adding stays? This is your chance to get expert advice and hands-on support, focused entirely on your project and your skill level.

What You Can Learn During Your One-2-One Patchwork & Quilting Session:

• Master Specific Techniques: From bag making to tricky piecing to foundation paper piecing and precise cutting.

• Quilting Tips & Tricks: Hand or machine quilting techniques, stitch guides, and pattern advice.

• Borders & Finishing: Guidance on adding borders, sashing, binding, and other finishing touches.

• Fabric & Colour Selection: Tips for coordinating fabrics, balancing patterns, and creating striking designs.

• Project Problem-Solving: Personalized help with any difficulties on your current project.

• Time-Saving Tips: Learn shortcuts, tools, and techniques to make quilting easier and more enjoyable.

• Confidence Building: Gain the skills and confidence to tackle new patterns and expand your quilting repertoire.

With friendly, hands-on guidance, you’ll leave your session inspired, equipped with new skills, and ready to bring your patchwork and quilting projects to life!

Please note: Pattern, fabric, and haberdashery costs are not included in the lesson fee. You are welcome to bring your own, or purchase from our warehouse.

Please bring with you

• your fabric, and thread – or choose on the day
• your sewing machine and instruction manual
• a notebook and pen
• basic sewing supplies – thread, pins, scissors, hand and machine needles, unpicker

Additional Notes

🚗 Parking:
Free parking is available at the warehouse.
Please park in the designated car park at the bottom of the building — this ensures clear access for disabled visitors and delivery vehicles. We kindly ask that you avoid parking along the length of the warehouse.

📅 Cancellation Policy

Workshop Cancellations by Us:
In exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel a workshop or event. If this happens, we will:

• Offer you an alternative date where possible, securing your place in the class

• Provide as much notice as possible, with cancellations made no later than 48 hours before the scheduled workshop

• If no alternative date is suitable, we will refund you in full

Please note:
We are unable to reimburse any additional costs you may have incurred to attend, such as travel, accommodation, or materials purchased independently.

Cancellations by You:
If you need to cancel your place:

• 14 days’ notice or more before the first session:

  • You may request a refund (minus a 10% admin fee)

  • Or transfer to another available class

• Less than 14 days’ notice:

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer

We appreciate your understanding and encourage early notice wherever possible to allow us to offer your place to another attendee.
