Untamed is a collection that puts florals in the spotlight. Tula has previously used flowers to frame and fill in gaps on previous illustrations, but has now made them the standout feature as she has always enjoyed drawing them.

The florals have been paired with geometric prints that highlight the same shapes. “Some of my favourite pieces from past collections have been small geometric prints that rarely get the same attention as the large detailed illustrations”. In Untamed, the geometrics work with the florals, both as backgrounds to the detailed designs and in coordinating prints.

For an added layer of depth, Tula has added pigmented neon to the petals and geometrics which give the prints a magical glowing quality.
